A dog was saved by a mountain rescue team after becoming trapped at a beauty spot in Clackmannanshire.
Ochils Mountain Rescue Team were called out by Police Scotland to help a dog, named Sampson, that had fallen in the Dollar Glen area on Saturday, May 10.
Sampson’s owner alerted emergency services after they were able to scramble down to the dog who was uninjured but was unable to get him back to safety.

Team members set up a technical rope rescue system to raise the 50kg dog and its owner out of the glen.
The team vet ensured the safety and wellbeing of Sampson.
“We are delighted to report that after an assessment and a bit of cooling, Sampson was able to walk off the hill escorted by team members,” a spokesperson for Ochils Mountain Rescue Team said.
