Road closed after 'head on' crash between two vehicles

A Fife road has been closed on both sides following a “head on” crash between two vehicles.

Officers were called to reports of the collision at around 3.50pm on Monday, on the A914 at Pickletillum.

No injuries were reported as of 5pm on Monday.

Taking to social media, one local asked people to avoid the scene of the “head on” crash.

The road was closed at St Michaels, and police asked motorists to use “alternative routes”.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said : “At around 3.50pm we received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on the A914 Pickletillum.

“Officers are currently in attendance. The road is closed at St Michaels.

“Motorists are asked to use alternative routes.”
