Officers investigating an incident on board a train between Edinburgh Waverley and Dunbar railway station have released the image of a woman they want to speak to.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 on board the 7.11pm TransPennine Express service from Edinburgh Waverley to Liverpool Lime Street.

Officers believe the woman in the CCTV image may have information which could help with their investigation into the incident.

The woman is described as white, in her 30s and approximately 5ft 3in with blonde hair and a Scottish accent.

She was wearing a grey hoodie, black bum bag, white trainers, black sunglasses and in the company of a younger woman.

Anyone who recognises the person pictured is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 405 040, quoting reference 2400099303.
