The death of a man who was found injured in a West Lothian home is being treated as unexplained.
Emergency services were called to a property on Quarry Road in the Fauldhouse area of Bathgate at around 10.20am on Tuesday following reports of an injured man.
The individual was taken to hospital, where he later died.
Detectives are treating the incident as unexplained, and an investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.20am on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, we were made aware of a man found injured at a property on Quarry Road, Fauldhouse, Bathgate.
“Emergency services attended, and he was taken to hospital where he later died.
“The death is being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
