The death of a man found unresponsive at a flat in Fife is being treated as unexplained by investigators.
Emergency services were called to the Broomhead Drive area of Dunfermline after a 39-year-old man was found unresponsive on Sunday at around 8.30pm.
Medical crews pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Detectives are treating the incident as unexplained but there is not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.30pm on Sunday, October 19, we received a report of a man unresponsive in the Broomhead Drive area of Dunfermline.
“Emergency services attended and a 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious, and enquiries are ongoing.”
