A cyclist has been seriously injured following a collision with a van in Clackmannanshire.

The crash occurred on Thursday evening around 7.15pm on the A91 between Menstrie and Alva.

The 52-year-old man suffered serious injuries following the crash and was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, where his condition is described as serious but stable. 

The driver of the white Mercedes Sprinter van was not injured. 

Sergeant David Ross said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened and may have dash-cam footage that could help with our enquiries.”
