A pensioner who was reported missing and had been travelling between Scottish cities has been traced, police have confirmed.
Christopher Cook, 78, had last been seen in the Moredun area of the capital at around 2.25pm on Monday afternoon.
While not from Edinburgh, he had been in the area in the days prior to his disappearance.
It was confirmed by police shortly after 8am on Tuesday that he had been traced safe and well.
