Concerns growing for 11-year-old missing from Tranent overnight

Police are searching for an 11-year-old who has been missing from Tranent overnight.

Connall Ward was last seen around 11.30am on Wednesday in the Prestonpans area of East Lothian.

The public is being asked not to approach Connall as it may place “them or you” at risk.

Connall was last seen wearing dark grey Montrex joggers and an orange and grey tracksuit top, Adidas trainers and may be with another female youth.

Police say they are becoming “increasingly concerned” for the child’s welfare and have appealed for anyone with information on their whereabouts to come forward.

A spokesperson said: “If you see the young person, please do not approach them if it may place them or you at risk. Contact Police immediately and provide their location and any relevant information.”
