Police ScotlandConcerns are growing for a missing teenage girl who was last seen wearing walking gear in the Scottish Borders.
Margaret Grigor was last seen on foot in the Melrose area at around 4.30pm on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old is described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, slim build, long, dark, wavy hair tied in a bun.
She was last seen wearing a turquoise quarter zip jumper, leggings, walking boots and carrying a jacket.
Officers said she was on foot when she was last seen.
Police Scotland is urging anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to come forward.
Inspector Colin Deans said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Margaret’s welfare.
“We are asking the public to please get in touch if there are any possible sightings of Margaret.
“When last seen, she was on foot, and anyone with any information on her whereabouts is encouraged to contact officers immediately.
“Call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2890 of Tuesday, June 17, 2025.”
