The westbound carriageway of the M8 has been blocked due to a collision on Thursday afternoon.
Shortly before 2pm, Traffic Scotland reported that a crash had occurred on the M8 westbound near Junction 3A, at Blackburn.
Emergency services are in attendance and traffic is tailing back towards Livingston.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
