Cocaine, heroin and cannabis have been seized following a raid at two Fife homes.

Officers executed warrants at addresses on Foote Street and Henderson Street in Lochgelly on Thursday.

After gaining access to the properties a haul of drugs were seized along with a sum of cash.

A 44-year-old man was arrested in connection with drug offences, and a 39-year-old man was arrested in connection with outstanding warrants.

Sergeant John Nicol said: “We are determined to protect the public from harmful criminality by disrupting sale of illegal substances and preventing them from being circulated on the streets of our community.
