Chappell Roan to play second night at Edinburgh Summer Sessions after ‘phenomenal’ demandGigs in Scotland

Chappell Roan has added a second night to her show at Edinburgh Summer Sessions after “phenomenal” demand.

The pop star will be taking to the stage at the Royal Highland Showgrounds on Tuesday, August 26 and Wednesday, August 27 fresh from her headline performances at Reading and Leeds festival.

The shows will mark her biggest Scottish gigs to date, coming just months after her sold-out performance at Glasgow’s O2 Academy.

Gigs in Scotland confirmed the second show on Monday afternoon after the concert sold out in minutes last week.

Chappell has become one of the biggest names in pop following the release of her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, and single Good Luck, Babe!

Other acts announced for Summer Sessions shows in Edinburgh and Glasgow include Sam Fender, Sting, Simple Minds and Sex Pistols.

How to get tickets

Tickets for the show will go on sale via a waiting list presale on Wednesday, April 16 at 9am.

General sale will begin an hour later at 10am.

Stage times and age restrictions

Support acts and official stage times are still to be released but doors for the event will open at 4pm.

The show is over 12s only and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over 21.
