Chappell Roan is the latest act to be announced for this year’s Edinburgh Summer Sessions.

The pop star will be taking to the stage at the Royal Highland Showgrounds on Tuesday, August 26, fresh from her headline performances at Reading and Leeds festival.

The show will mark her biggest Scottish gig to date, coming just months after her sold-out performance at Glasgow’s O2 Academy.

Chappell has become one of the biggest names in pop following the release of her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, and single Good Luck, Babe!

Other acts announced for Summer Sessions shows in Edinburgh and Glasgow include Sam Fender, Sting, Simple Minds and Sex Pistols.

How to get tickets

Tickets for the show will go on presale via Gigs in Scotland at 9am on April 10.

General sale will begin at 9am on April 11.

Stage times and age restrictions

Support acts and official stage times are still to be released but doors for the event will open at 4pm.

The show is over 12s only and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over 21.
