Police have released images of a man they want to track down following a serious assault in the Grassmarket area of Edinburgh.
A 24-year-old man sustained serious injuries to his face during an incident in West Port at around 12am on Friday, October 4 last year.
Officers believe the man captured on CCTV will be able to assist the investigation.
Detective constable Thomas Archer said: “The victim was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary having sustained serious injuries to his face.
“As part of our ongoing enquiries, we’re urging anyone who may recognise this man, or who has any information about this incident, to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
