A driver has been reported for dangerous driving after being stopped by police with a burst tyre on his car.
Officers from the National Motorcycle Unit stopped the vehicle in Edinburgh on Thursday.
A picture shared by Police Scotland on social media shows the vehicle with a burst and ripped tyre, exposing the metal wheel.
The force said the care has been banned from being driven.
They added that it “should be clear” that a car in this condition should not be put onto a road, adding that it puts the driver and others in danger.
Their post read: “Officers from the National Motorcycle Unit stopped this car earlier today in Edinburgh. It should be clear to any driver that using a vehicle in this condition places both the driver & other road users in danger.
“The vehicle was prohibited from use and the driver was reported for the offence.”
