Emergency crews were called to the M90 in Fife after a car burst into flames.
The incident occurred at around 3.30pm, on Monday afternoon, between junction four and five near Kelty.
No injuries were reported as a result.
Two fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the fire, an SFRS spokesperson said.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a car on fire on the M90 between junction 4 and 5 around 3.30pm on Monday, February 27.
“Recovery was arranged.”
