Cannabis plants worth more than £150,000 have been seized after police uncovered a cultivation at a flat in Edinburgh.
Police made the discovery at a property on Montgomery Street at around 9am on Monday.
Officers discovered cannabis plants, believed to worth around £162,000, within the home.
No arrests have been made, however, an investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9am on Monday, January 13, 2025, police received a report a cannabis cultivation site had been discovered at a flat in Montgomery Street, Edinburgh.
“Officers attended and cannabis plants worth an estimated street value of approximately £162,000 have been seized. Enquiries remain ongoing.”
