Officers confirmed that were no serious injuries following the crash.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called, and nearby buildings had to be evacuated “as a precaution” following a suspected gas leak.

The area was declared safe at around 12.50am and residents were able to return to the buildings affected.
