A schoolboy had be to taken to hospital after being hit by a van in Edinburgh.
Police were called to Wester Hailes Road around 5.10pm on Friday following reports of a crash involving a van and pedestrian.
The pedestrian, an 11-year-old boy, was taken to hospital.
The nature of his injuries are currently unknown.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.10pm on Friday, April 5, 2024, officers received a report of a crash involving a van and a pedestrian on Wester Hailes Road, Edinburgh.
“The pedestrian, an 11-year-old boy, was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
