A body has been recovered from the water near a seaside town in Fife.
Emergency services were called to Kirkcaldy esplanade on Wednesday morning following reports of a body in the Firth of Forth.
Police say the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are currently in attendance in the Esplanade area of Kirkcaldy following the discovery of a body within the water.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and emergency services remain at the scene.”
