The body of a man has been recovered from the River Forth in Fife.
Police Scotland said officers found the body at around 8am on Monday near Burntisland.
Detectives don’t believe the death to be suspicious but it is currently being treated as unexplained.
Police say the man’s next of kin have been made aware.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8am on Monday, March 3, 2025, the body of a man was recovered from the River Forth.
“His next of kin have been informed.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.”
