Social mediaA body has been found in a wooded area during a search for a missing teenage girl from Stenhousemuir.
An extensive operation was launched to trace Jasmine Ferguson after the 16-year-old disappeared on Tuesday.
Officers were informed that a body was discovered in a wooded area near the town’s McLachlan Street.
Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Jasmine has been informed.
The death is not believed to be suspicious, and a report is due to be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
