A body has been found at a disused quarry in Edinburgh.
Police were called to the scene at Torphin Road in the city at 12.50am on Sunday after the discovery.
The age or gender of the person who was found is not known at this time.
Officers have now launched a probe into the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said: “At 12.50am on Sunday, November 6, 2022, we received a report that a body had been discovered a disused quarry in Torphin Road, Edinburgh.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
