A man has been in connection with an ongoing gang feud after a car was intercepted by armed police in Edinburgh.
The vehicle was stopped by firearms police on the capital’s Salamander Street at around 3.30pm on Wednesday.
A 27-year-old man was charged in connection with various offences believed to be linked to an ongoing criminal feud which ignited in March.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.30pm on Wednesday, May 7, officers stopped a car on Salamander Street in Edinburgh.
“A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with various offences and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday, 8 May, 2025.”
