Armed police were called to a runway at Fife Airport after a small plane crashed.
Officers, who were nearby at the time, were called to the airport at Glenrothes at around 10.45am on Thursday.
There were no reports of any injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.45am on Thursday, July 9, 2026, we received a report that a small plane had crashed on the runway at Fife Airport in Glenrothes.
“Emergency services attended, but no serious injuries were reported.
“No further police action is required.”
