Guide Dogs Scotland is looking for volunteers to help support young pups on their journey to becoming fully fledged guide dogs.
The charity says the dogs can make an enormous difference to someone living with sight loss.
At just three-months-old, Xander, Rose, Matoe, Watson and Janet have an important journey ahead of them.
They are among the puppies training to become official guide dogs.
Val Hicks, who has a working guide dog called Athena, told STV News: “For me it’s life changing, it’s independence and my freedom and confidence to go out now.
“I can do whatever I want, I can pick up my grandchildren from school. It’s just completely changed my life and I don’t have to rely on other people.”
Guide Dogs Scotland want to recruit more puppy volunteers to help people like Val.
Lynsey Anderson-Fell from Guide Dogs Scotland said: “We want to try and reach more visually impaired people, we want to create more partnerships, so to do that we need more puppies and then to do that we need more volunteers.”
