A road in the Scottish Borders has been closed following a two-vehicle collision.

Police were made aware of the crash around 4.35pm on the A7 north of Hawick on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services are currently attendance.

It is unknown if anyone was injured in the collision.

Police have urged drivers to avoid the area and use an alternative route.
