The A1 has been closed due to a two-vehicle rush hour collision near Dunbar.
Traffic Scotland confirmed that the northbound carriageway at Thistly Cross was closed around 7.30am on Monday.
It’s been confirmed that one man has been taken to hospital for further treatment.
Police are in attendance and providing traffic management assistance.
Drivers have been been advised to take care when approaching the area due to the build up of traffic.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.20am on Monday, 18 December, 2023, police were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A1 near Dunbar.
“One man was taken to hospital for treatment and recovery has been arranged.”
