A 15th-century Edinburgh estate is on public sale for the first time in history.
Newliston House & Estate, near Kirkliston, is being listed on the market by Savills for a cool £15m.
The estate is centred around a large Robert Adam-designed mansion with landscaped gardens and parklands through which a number of waterways flow.
Owned by the Dundas family for nearly three centuries, the estate was sold to the Hog family in 1747 who it has remained with since.
The main Georgian-period house features five reception rooms, 13 bedrooms and six bathrooms.
In the 764-acre estate, there are also 14 separate rental properties, landscaped gardens including a walled garden, stables for nine horses and arable land.
Sitting between the M8 and M9, the property is only ten miles from Edinburgh and between 30-50 miles from Glasgow, Stirling, Perth and St Andrews.
Field Marshal John Dalrymple, the second Earl of Stair, designed the gardens between 1722 and 1742.
It is said that he took inspiration from his time as the French Ambassador, modelling the grounds after Versailles.
Interested buyers can find the listing on the Savills website.
