Motorcyclist who died in car collision is named

The name of a motorcyclist who died in a crash in the Borders at the weekend has been revealed.

Jeremy Charles Taylor, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident involving his blue Honda VFR motorbike and a white Volkswagen Polo.

The incident happened at around 11.10am on Sunday on the A6112 north of Coldstream.

PC Clark Black said: “Our thoughts and sympathies are with Mr Taylor’s family and we are conducting a thorough investigation to establish exactly what happened during this incident.”
