Pair face string of charges after crash leaves man in hospital
Teenagers appear in Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday after collision on February 4.
Two men have been charged with a string of offences after a crash which left a man in hospital.
A Vauxhall Astra and a Peugeot 206 were involved in the collision on Ferry Road Drive, Edinburgh, at around 5.30pm on February 4.
A 53-year-old man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police revealed on Friday that a 19-year-old had been charged with seven road traffic offences, the theft of a car and housebreaking. A 17-year-old was charged with two counts of car theft and two counts of theft by housebreaking. The men appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "The divisional road policing unit and officers in the north [of Edinburgh] worked together to conduct extensive inquiries in order to trace the suspects."
