ITV News has exclusively obtained a picture of Arthur Simpson-Kent, the partner of murdered EastEnders actress Sian Blake, arriving in Ghana - just three days after being questioned by police.

Ms Blake's body and those of her two children were discovered buried in the garden of the family's home in Erith, Kent on Monday.

Simpson-Kent, 48, was quizzed by officers over his partner's disappearance on December 16 but travelled to the west African country three days later.

He was pictured arriving at Kotoka International Airport at just after 9pm local time.

Ava Blake, Sian's sister, said Simpson-Kent must be brought back to the UK to face questions over her relatives' deaths.

She claimed that her sister was about to leave Simpson-Kent - who she described as "controlling" - at the time of her disappearance.

Police have so far refused to confirm that Simpson-Kent has left the country, with officers only saying: "Whether or not he is in the country is one line of inquiry."

Scotland Yard has faced criticism for the way it has handled the case, specifically over the length of time it took to launch a murder investigation.

The force has referred itself to the police watchdog.
