There will be madness, mayhem and a massive number of fairground rides when the Irn-Bru Carnival rolls into Glasgow.

More than 60 attractions will pack into two rooms at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) on December 21.

New additions to the carnival for the 92nd year include a Jungle Funhouse for children. Kids can trek around the 1000ft jungle themed trail or have a go on the waltzers, dodgems and the ghost train.

Billed as Europe's largest indoor funfair the carnival will run daily until January 13 but will be closed on Christmas Day.

This year, families can also book tickets for special screenings of Ice Age Four or the Wizard of Oz before enjoying some fun and games.

A spokeswoman for the Irn Bru Carnival said: "With some of the best loved thrill rides, also back by strong demand this year is the hugely popular ride Frisbee, a ride sure to get the entire family in a spin.

"Parents busy with planning their families festive season can breathe easy as tickets can be pre-booked, making the perfect Christmas gift treat for any day of the Irn-Bru Carnival."

Entry to the Irn-Bru Carnival is £16 and includes ten vouchers and one ticket to the cinema. Cinema screenings are on December 29 and 30 with two shows each day. To book tickets call the SECC Box Office on 0844 395 4000 or visit
