A road was closed in central Glasgow after a bus and car collided, police said.

The incident took place at 5.10pm on West Regent Street, near to the junction with Wellington Street.

Cordons were put in place while the vehicles are removed from the scene.

A police spokeswoman said two men who were in the car were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. Their injuries are not thought to be serious.

The road was reopened around 6.30pm.
