LONDON (Reuters) - A 30-year-old man from Newcastle has been charged with three terrorism-related offences, police said on Wednesday.
Rajib Karim was charged with making preparations with the "intention of committing terrorist acts," or "assisting to commit such acts," both within and outside Britain.
He is also accused of fundraising for the purposes of terrorism.
The charges related to Karim's activities between April 2006 and February this year, police said. He will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on March 11.
