LONDON (Reuters) - Jay-Z featuring Rihanna and Kanye West's "Run This Town" shot straight to the top of the UK singles chart, the Official UK Charts Company said.

The fast-selling single comfortably led the Sugababes' latest "Get Sexy" which was pushed to number two in the charts. Last week's number one, "Holiday" by Dizzee Rascal, slips to fourth.

In the albums chart, Vera Lynn's "We'll Meet Again" stormed up the ranking to finish second, up from number 20 last week -- but still fell short of knocking the Arctic Monkeys' "Humbug" from the top spot.

Next week is likely to be a three way battle between three representatives of three entirely different generations, the charts company said.

The Arctic Monkeys, Dame Vera and The Beatles, whose entire catalogue is re-issued in brand new remastered editions, will battle it out.
