A woman has been arrested for the murder of a man at a flat in Dundee.

The 50-year-old male died following a disturbance at the property on Provost Road on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene and provided medical assistance to the seriously injured man but were unable to save his life.

A 57-year-old woman was arrested and will appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday.

Police confirmed they were not looking for any other suspects in relation to the killing.

The victim’s name will not be released until formal identification has been made and next of kin have been informed.
