Major search for 'very vulnerable' missing woman

A "very vulnerable" elderly woman has been reported missing from her Pitlochry home.

Police are very concerned for the welfare of Elizabeth Stevenson who was reported missing from her home at 2pm on Tuesday.

The elderly woman is very vulnerable and may be confused, police say.

She was last seen in Atholl Road, Pitlochry, near to Dysart Brae, walking north.

A member of her family raised the alarm with police at 9.30 pm and an extensive search of the area was launched, which continued throughout the night.

Mrs Stevenson is described as 5ft 4in tall, slim build with ginger, jaw-length hair. She was wearing a fawn-coloured jacket and trousers.
