A man spotted having sex in a park by a dog walker chased the witness with his trousers around his ankles, a court was told.
Fred Mills was still pulling up his trousers as he tried to chase away the man who spotted him having sex in broad daylight in a Perth park.
When the 50-year-old appeared in court on Thursday he kissed and cuddled the woman in the dock at Perth Sheriff Court.
He has admitted an act of public indecency but she denies having sex with Mills and will face trial in January.
Fiscal depute Carol Whyte told the court that a man was walking his dog in South Inch Park at around 4pm when he saw Mills with his trousers round his ankles, having sex with a woman.
The shocked passer-by told the pair to stop, because there were children and families walking nearby.
Mills stood up and started to chase the man round the park, but gave up when he was unable to catch him.
Mills, of St Catherines Road, Perth, has admitted committing an act of public indecency and putting the witness in a state of fear and alarm by making derogatory remarks to him, on September 20.
The witness, who does not want to be named, said: "It was about 4.15pm and you don't expect to see people doing that. I had to look twice because I just couldn't believe what they were doing.
"When I shouted at him he shouted back to me 'are you jealous because you're not getting any?' Another girl and her boyfriend were walking past and they called the police."
Mills has been placed on the sex offenders register. Sentence was deferred for background reports.
