Two thieves stole a children’s charity donation bucket from a bank.
The man and woman, who were in their 20s, took the donation bucket, for cancer charity Kean’s Children’s Fund, from the Royal Bank of Scotland branch on Dundee’s High Street on Friday afternoon.
The funds were to go towards fulfilling Christmas dreams for terminally ill children in Dundee and across Scotland.
The charity has raised more than £500,000 to help underprivileged and terminally ill children.
Tayside Police said the couple were acting “in a rowdy manner” in the branch before they took the bucket. It happened between 4pm and 4.30pm on Friday.
Police asked members of the public to get in touch if they found the bucket – which is yellow and has a white lid – or if they saw people trying to collect money on the street using it.
