A teenager has been found seriously injured in a street in Dundee.
The 17-year-old was found on Caird Avenue at around 6.35am on Thursday morning.
He was taken to the city's Ninewells Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
Police have cordoned off the area where the teenager was found so they can examine the scene.
Officers will also be carrying out door-to-door enquiries through the morning.
