A man sustained is undergoing emergency surgery after his arm was caught underneath his overturned car in Fife.
The 44-year-old driver, from the Fife area, was driving his silver Fiat Punto shortly after 6am on Monday when the crash happened.
The car hit a wall and overturned on the A914 between Pitlessie and Balmalcolm.
Fife Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and used cutting equipment to free the driver.
Tayside Constabulary closed the road for several hours as a crash investigation took place, while the injured man was taken to Ninewells Hospital, in Dundee, where he is receiving surgery on his badly injured arm.
No other vehicles were involved in the smash.
