A woman has died and five children have been injured, two of them seriously, in a car crash in Fife.
The children, along with two adults, were taken to Dundee's Ninewells Hospital after the accident, which happened near Cupar at around 1pm.
It is understood that the crash involved a people carrier, containg a driver and five children, and a Renault Clio.
The driver of the Clio was trapped for almost two hours and it is understood that she died from her injuries.
Fife Constabulary said none of the children, all of whom were under 10, had life-threatening injuries.
The A92 was closed just south of the Tay Road Bridge, between the Forgan and Five Roads roundabouts, on Sunday afternoon.
A Scottish Ambulance spokesman said: "Two of the children have suffered quite severe injuries, and the female driving the people carrier and the three other children have managed to walk away with minor injuries."
The road was expected to be closed for several hours.
