An 18-year-old was injured after being attacked by two women in Angus.
Tayside Police said the woman was assaulted in Panmure Street, Brechin, near its junction with Clerk Street, at around 1.20am on Sunday.
The teenager was targeted by two older women and is understood to have suffered minor injuries.
A spokeswoman for Tayside Police said: "It is believed that a number of people were in the area at the time and anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222 or speak to any police officer."
