A 15-year-old girl was injured after being bitten by an Alsatian dog in Carnoustie.
The dog attacked the girl in Panbride Road, Carnoustie at about 8.10am on Saturday.
Her injuries were not thought to be serious.
Police are keen to trace the owner of the dog, understood to be an Alsatian, who is described as being male, aged about 50-years old and of stocky build with a bald head.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who knows the identity of this man to contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222 or speak to any officer.
