A 12-week-old puppy was stolen from a car parked at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
The Hungarian Viszla was taken from a black and white Mini, which was parked in the accident and emergency car park between 10am and 11am on Monday.
The dog is described as ginger in colour, approximately 18ins tall and wearing a black nylon collar.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the dog or has any information that may be useful is asked to contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222 or speak to any police officer.
Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
