The body of a 77-year-old man who has been missing for two weeks has been identified.
Tayside Police said John Styles' body was discovered near to Mills of Earn, Crieff, at around 7.45pm on Monday.
He was formally identified on Tuesday.
The pensioner had been reported missing from his home in Perth on July 11.
A spokeswoman for Tayside Police said: "Mr Styles' family would like to express their gratitude to the public for support during this recent ordeal, and also to Tayside Police for sensitive way the inquiry was handled. The family has now requested privacy."
She added that a report on the matter would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
