Three vehicles were involved in a crash on the A90 between Dundee and Perth near Errol.
Emergency services were called to the smash shortly after 11am on Friday.
All lanes southbound were restricted while the crash was cleared. Motorists were warned they faced delays of up to an hour.
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said one person was taken to Perth Royal Infirmary with minor injuries.
