Dundee Science Centre has reported record visitor numbers 12 years after it opened as one of the UK’s Millenium Projects.
More than 31,000 people have visited the centre at Greenmarket in Dundee since January, which is an increase on previous years.
The centre has also recorded a total of more than 1m visitors since it opened.
It has also inducted and trained more than 200 scientists who are working with schools across the North East of Scotland.
The centre is currently hosting Robot: The Fantasy and the Reality exhibition, which features a full sized humanoid Robot.
Hannah Crookes, director of science, learning and public engagement, said: "The centre is recognised as one of Scotland's leading visitor attractions and, in recent years, the mix of exhibitions, science shows and workshops, along with continual engagement with education and the community, and the growing number of outreach events, have all contributed to the steady pattern of increase in visitor numbers, making the 12 year anniversary all the more special.
"The high visitor numbers recorded are an opportunity for us to celebrate. The centre is also a success story for Dundee. The science centre has outreached to the community with almost 800 adults attending the centre's Science Learning Institute courses during the last academic year.
"The Science Centre has also been busy with schools this past term, with more than 2000 pupils visiting the centre, and nearly 1100 on Outreach since the Easter holidays alone."
