A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of another man after a fight outside a pub.
A murder investigation was launched when a 29-year-old died in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, after an alleged assault outside the Maltman pub on Mains Road in the city.
Police were contacted by the ambulance service at about 11pm on Friday.
Tayside Police said the 35-year-old will appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday.
The 29-year-old has been named locally as Jimmy Getty.
